Iron Mountain Acquires Secure Destruction Limited

~ UK's largest shredding company extends Iron Mountain's records management portfolio from creation to destruction ~

December 6, 2005 - Iron Mountain, the leader in outsourced records and information management services, has acquired the largest shredding company in the UK, Secure Destruction Limited. The deal means that Iron Mountain's portfolio of records management extensively covers the full 'chain of custody', taking documents through their entire lifecycle and eventual destruction.

Secure Destruction Limited has been an Iron Mountain partner since 2000, and has provided secure disposal of documents for blue chip, banking and central government clients across England and Scotland.

All Secure Destruction Limited staff will be retained by Iron Mountain and will continue to provide their expert support to customers that seek to manage their organisations' private information securely and without compromise. Andy Berridge, Commercial Director of Secure Destruction Limited, will be heading up Iron Mountain's secure shredding division.
