Iron Mountain forms UK User Group
~ customer-driven programme to ensure technology portfolio maintains competitive edge ~
30th May 2006 – Iron Mountain Digital, the technology arm of Iron Mountain Incorporated (NYSE:IRM), has launched its first UK User Group for customers of its portfolio of technology products and services.
The move is in response to the company’s desire to ensure its range of data backup and protection solutions continue to meet evolving customers’ needs.
The UK group is one of three being set up across Europe. Customers from a range of different sectors are being offered the opportunity to join and provide important feedback to Iron Mountain Digital on both current and future products. Members and an elected chair will meet Iron Mountain representatives twice a year to exchange experiences and discuss specific business requirements.
"The User Group is a proven and trusted formula to receive meaningful feedback from our customers in a controlled, channelled environment," said Nick Cater, general manager for Northern Europe, Iron Mountain Digital. "Understanding and responding to the customer experience is critical for us not only to maintain our market-leading position; We consider customer satisfaction our job number one. The ongoing dialogue with our customers ensures that we are always responsive to their needs and can develop our product portfolio in line with specific business requirements."
